My research focuses on climate adaptation, climate-induced displacement, sustainable livelihoods, and disaster resilience. Through field-based and interdisciplinary research, I explore how vulnerable communities respond to environmental change and how policy can better support climate resilience.
My research explores how climate change influences human mobility, including displacement, planned relocation, and migration decisions. I am particularly interested in how environmental change affects vulnerable communities and how policy can support people facing displacement
I study how vulnerable communities adapt to climate change through local knowledge, livelihood strategies, and development interventions. My interest focuses on understanding how adaptation policies can strengthen resilience while responding to the everyday realities of climate-affected populations.
I examine how livelihood systems function under conditions of environmental uncertainty. My work focuses on agriculture, livestock, rural employment, market access, and the interconnected factors that influence long-term livelihood resilience.
I am interested in understanding how communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural hazards. My research explores disaster risk reduction, community resilience, and the role of local institutions in reducing climate-related vulnerability.
I study how development programmes are experienced by local communities and how evidence from field research can improve policy and programme design. I am particularly interested in connecting qualitative research with practical solutions for climate adaptation and sustainable development.
